Why learn Dutch online?
You will have an experienced teacher who will be exclusively dedicated to you.
Classes are tailor-made to suit your level, pace, needs, and interests.
You choose when, where and how you take the classes.
What do I need for online lessons?
You will need a good working internet connection.
Windows 10 or iOs 14 or newer on your PC, laptop or tablet. It is not advisable to take the online lessons or do your homework on your mobile phone.
It is important that during the lessons you have access to a PC, laptop or tablet on which you can type, open Google Docs, Google Slides and other necessary programs. That way, you can take full advantage of the teaching materials and exercises that we will use.
What method will be used?
The development of conversation is, for me, the main pillar for learning the language. I will provide you with the tools to practise what you have learnt, such as online games, controlled speaking activities, role plays and discussions as well as structured written exercises. While I make sure you develop the four main skills in language learning, speaking, listening, reading and writing, we will always focus on your personal needs.
Do I have to sign up for a minimum number of lessons?
Yes, you need to sign up for a minimum of 10 or 20 one-hour lessons. Other options upon request.
How and when do I pay for the lessons?
Classes must be paid in full before the course starts. Payment can be made by bank transfer.
If I miss a class, can I make up for it?
There will be no refund if students do not attend a lesson without prior notice. However, lessons can be postponed on request by email at least 24 hours prior to that lesson. Please note that of every ten lessons, a maximum of 3 lessons can be postponed.
What happens if there are any technical problems with the connection?
Any lost time will be made up for by prolonging your lesson. In case the connection doesn't work at all, the lesson will be continued on a day and time agreed on by both of us.
